Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ'S )

  • If you are taking the course for court, please ask the court or your attorney (if applicable) which course is most appropriate for your case. Generally eight-hour courses are sufficient, but certain cases warrant the 12-hour course (RADEP), particularly when you have already completed an eight-hour course in the past or your alleged driving behavior was at a higher speed or involved signs of aggressiveness.
  • If you are taking a course for the DMV, insurance purposes, or voluntarily for +5 points, generally you should take an eight-hour Virginia DMV approved Driver Improvement Program.

  • Our courses consist of separate lessons, quizzes, and a final exam. The lessons consist of reading materials and videos.The final exam consists of multiple choice questions.

  • No, you can complete the class at whatever pace is convenient for you. You can pause and come back as much as you’d like.

  • Our 12 Hour RADEP Course (Reckless and Aggressive Driver Education Program) takes approximately 12 hours to complete and is the most complete and advanced online driving course offered.
  • Our 4 Hour Reckless and Aggressive Driving Supplement only focuses on remediating reckless and aggressive driving behavior and takes about four hours to complete. This supplemental course should only be done in conjunction with an 8 hour course as well.

  • We will send you the Certificate of Completion within 24 hours of completing and passing the final exam via email. We can also send the certificate to your attorney or the court if you would like us to do that.
